7th Annual Pride Paddle!
Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride & paddle with us in June as we offer a special voyage of Gowanus Bay and lower Canal. This is our seventh annual Pride Paddle! We persisted right through each year of the pandemic, because celebrating and signaling the importance of inclusion on the waterfront is crucial to our work.
Meet at our 19th St. Bunker Launch site (end of 19th St / off 3rd Ave.) at Gowanus Bay and please register to ensure we can reserve a seat for you.
We’ll be be paddling out as the sun sets, hoping for some technicolor clouds and good sunset glows. Solo paddlers are welcome, you will be paired with other members of the group based on experience and comfort in a canoe. Bring your rainbow flags and colorful apparel!
