Open House New York: Self-Guided Canoeing from 19th St.
October 17 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Join the Gowanus Dredgers for our special walk-up paddling from our 19th St. Bunker Launch location. As part of Open House New York, we take our signature free self-guided canoe programming to our location at the mouth of the Gowanus Canal, near Sunset Park!
Launch from our custom, community-built dock and explore the canal’s history as an active industrial waterway through its ongoing transformation into a residential neighborhood. Guided audio tours developed by the Unheard-of Ensemble will be available, but are not required.
