Refuge with Nora Almeida, Alma Hutter, and Mattie Brubaker
December 5 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Join artists Nora Almeida, Alma Hutter, and Mattie Brubaker at the Gowanus Dredger’s boathouse on December 5th from 2-5:30pm for Refuge—an interactive installation made from discarded umbrellas, a workshop, and a social experiment. There will be tea, storytelling, giant pieces of paper, deep breaths, thermic experiments, and (potentially) climate catharsis.
A guided 75 minute workshop will take place inside of the Refuge from 3-4:15pm. Register for the workshop or come for autonomous experiments anytime during the afternoon.
