This hands-on workshop will explore how breath\, movement\, and mark-making can bring meaning to the flags and costumes we’ll carry on to the water for the processional on Saturday. \nNo experience needed. Just come ready to move and make. \nBasic materials and tools provided. Feel free to bring more.\nBYO snacks and drinks.\nRSVP HERE \nThe workshop runs 6:30 to 8 PM on Friday. If you can’t make the workshop\, you’re welcome to join for open making 8-10 PM and Saturday morning 9 AM-Noon \nFriends from the Canal: A Floating Art Parade \nPaddle with the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club to escort Mookntaka’s illuminated inflatable creatures down the canal and through the newly reopened Carroll Street bridge.
