SUMMARY:City of Water Day at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse
DESCRIPTION:Two neighborhoods. One harbor | RETI Center & the Gowanus Dredgers Celebrate City of Water Day! \n1–5PM: Photo exhibit & film screening by Sophie Fenwick. The photos & film feature scenes of the NYC waterfront since the 1990s. Musician Leslie Braver will accompany the film from 2–4PM. \n2–3PM: On the waterfront esplanade – a hands-on session on water quality and a presentation on the history of waterfront access in Red Hook & Gowanus\, by RETI Center. \n3–7PM: Community paddle and cleanup. Open to all ages & skill levels. Life jackets provided. Walk-ups welcome. Signed waivers required. No registration needed. \n5-7PM: Music by Herb Lore \nLooking for more City of Water Day fun?
