DESCRIPTION:Yacht Rock Choir invites you to our next Pop-Up Choir\, where we teach one smooth song in 4-part harmony and sing it together in a fun (and often nautical) location. \nThis time\, we’re singing “Smooth Operator” by Sade! \n\nLocation: \nGowanus Dredgers Boathouse\n165 2nd Street\, Gowanus\, Brooklyn (between Bond and the Gowanus Canal)\n\nDate and time: \nSaturday\, August 9 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM \nWhat’s a Pop-Up Choir?\nIt’s all about singing a song you know and love (in 4-part harmony)\, with a group of laid-back folks and no pressure to be perfect. We teach by ear (no sheet music!) and end with a chill outdoor performance you’ll be proud to share. Think Michael McDonald\, Hall & Oates\, Kenny Loggins\, and Sade.
