Emily Chiavelli: The Sky Is Blue in Boston

The Sky is Blue in Boston is a solo exhibition by Gowanus-based photographer Emily Chiavelli. The exhibition comprises analog images she shot in the year following her mother’s death in March of 2023, primarily in California’s San Joaquin Valley, intertwined with the medical texts her sister studied during the same period.
