The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is proud to present “Dual Currents: Perspectives in Paint,” an exhibition by local artists Janice McDonnell and Jen Ferguson. While McDonnell’s vision starts from a place of representation, Ferguson’s portrayals spring from an idealized imagining. Together their contrasting approaches transform the ways in which familiar and overlooked surroundings can be elevated and appreciated.
